I had 235/60r17 Cooper Discoverers for awhile and they rubbed at full lock, I think that a 235/65r17 would definitely rub a bit.

jjcom I've had very bad experiences with spacers. The spacer broke, which made the wheel nuts loose which cause my wheel to fall off the hub while driving. The tire store said they tightened it to spec. best they could!!!

Narrower tire width is also better for snow driving. The wider tire plow through the snow and reduce your winter traction.

add in the cost of the spacers, and are you really saving much?

Just looking for some advice.
