Reagan39 Any major brand is typically good but since my ‘04 vw came with factory “Beam” wipers (Bosch), I never since use anything else. They seem to last for years & years with great performance. JMHO
Surprized my 18 TrailHawk came with factory beams but my 17 GC did not!

WisHawk A normal year I will put on 35 to 40,000. Just about to 20,000 now.
This year will be less. Had to stay home a few weeks to take care of the wife. And than there is the total 3.5 weeks the vehicle was at the dealer for the transmission leak than replacement.
Last week in the western part of the state I got to drive in some snow and slush and ice.
I have the new Firestone WinterForce 2 tires in the stock size. So far they have been excellent in the slush and ice. Will see how they go in the deeper snow.
The weather people keep saying we are going to have a white Christmas will see.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Thinking about this, since I put on about 3 time as many miles as the average person does in a year maybe 3 set a blades a year is not out of line. I appreciate the tips though.

Dealers said the blades are 18" and 24/ and since I couldn't get Jason to jump up and measure them for me (JK), I measured 20" and 24".
I will drop by the dealer and get it figure out sooner or later.
MERRY CHRISTMAS
Mudman1 when you get your new JL I will buy you a bottle of 303.
How many miles do you put on? I have a bottle already...but thanks . I thought I gained my first chip tonight. Some ass clown was passing at 70+ in a 55 on a 2 lane. I wish I had a Batmobile so I could shoot things at him. BTW, did you enjoy the snow storm of the century today in WI? I got a dusting...freaking Texas gained 4"!! Thanks Al Gore.

Jason Gillis I can't imagine everyone is going to jump up all at once to measure for you simply because you don't feel like doing it yourself. I have had good results with NAPA wiper blades but 3 pairs a year is normal for us near the coast. I have found high dollar blades to never be worth the money. Even in the best circumstances I thought most recommended replacement at least every 6 months.

Looked on line and in manual can not find any references to size?
While were at it what kind of replacement blades are people using. I seem to go through 3 set of blades a year. Regardless of brand.

Three sets a year is a lot. Do you scrape the ice off your windshield? Here is a little trick I learned. Remove the wiper blades and bring them into a warm room. Use a pan or tray that they fit in. Soak the blades in the 303. Allow it to soak in for a few hours, or over night. Wipe the excess off. The difference is AMAZING. I used to replace mine once per year, no matter what. Now, I don't so long as I don't drag them over ice. I learned this trick on YouTube and it works well. No streaking, they make great contact and almost no jaw grinding noise, ever. You can send me the $30 you saved as a Christmas gift .
