COMPASSDL I have it on mine. My 2009 was a Freedom Drive 1. I will tell you one thing though with the Freedom Drive 2 it is geared lower and at highway speeds the revs are higher and it uses more fuel. I like it though because all The Compass's around here I see don't have it. Very few on a percentage have the option. I sent Jeep am email a while back but they couldn't give me a ratio of I versus II that are built. The hill hold is very nice on snow or ice and a steep grade. It just walks itself down the grade and you never have to touch the brake.

EMScompass4x4 And yet another example why i wish I got that package instead. All the stealerships told me "Ah you don't need it". True perhaps but still rather have it and not need it then need it and not have it.

Hill Descent control

Does a 2011 Compass Lat with freedom 1 4x4 have hill descent control? I own this car and honestly may seem dumb but have no idea. Thanks!
