From 12/2/2006 ---> 4/28/2007
Total miles = 6166.8
Average mileage 22.75

However the mileage has improved since it has "broken in" and the weather has warmed up a bit.

Average mileage by month

Dec 2006 - 21.87
Jan 2007 - 22.68
Feb 2007 - 22.47
Mar 2007 - 23.04
April 2007 - 23.49

Hope it helps you out in your decision.

We live in the US. Here gas in going up almost daily now as I write this. Gas is $3.15 T0 $3.20 A GALLON. We are getting 25.4 mpg pretty consistantly. We do not push it, and drive like most do. We got our Compass April 5th and we now have 3,800 miles on it. So we are spending $41.00 to fill it up. We are trying to spend as little as we can for gas but I am sure we are using 20 to 30 gallong a week. That's if gas doesn't go up this week. As of now we are at out max in spending for gas. If it gets much higher we will have to cut our going even more. retired is nice, but fixed incomes makes higher gas prices really dig a hole in the budget.

It really depends on where you live. I have two homes. My college (Tampa, FL - Go BULLS!) and St. Cloud/Kissimmee, Florida. In Tampa I get about 21 mpg because of the amount of traffic lights, speed bumps, etc. But when I'm Home Home in St. Cloud I get about 24-25 mpg, there's a lot less stop and go. I have the limited 2 wheel drive. I'm also 19 so that might have an influence on my gas mileage. :twisted:
