Spark Plug Change - Interval or Needed

Well I was about to change plugs and at the autoshop. Looked up the number from and plug box I used before.ZFR5FGP. Turns out these a platinum plugs and I thought I put V -grove version in. I have the old plug in this box with a similar number. Platinum don't need changing anywhere near as often and its running fine as is. So I decided to leave it alone. I don't know if anyone else is using these or other platinum but I am not sure how it came to be. I usually stick to replacement like in kind. Copper to copper and not change the type.

I took the top off and pulled the 2nd plug from the left out of curiosity. Yep its the platinum tipped plug that's in there. Gap was bang on the spec's in my manual .043.
