Starting Problem

I have a 2008 Jeep Compass Sport. Everytime i try to start the car it takes 2 or 3 times to finally start. After that i have no problems the rest of the day. Its only when the car hasnt been running for a few hours that this happens. Also my check engine light is on. Can anyone help me with this problem?

Maybe neet to check the check valve in the fuel pump. Probably this is leaking and pressure drops when the truck is parked. or have a leaking inyector (i hope not to happen this).
