Aftermarket Horn replacement

I decided to replace the factory horn with a mini air horn (Wolo 619 Big Max) on a 2010 Compass.

I wired it in with a relay that has direct power from the battery and the single factory horn wire is connected to the relay as the switch so the steering wheel can be pressed to sound the horn without the need for a separate switch'

All is grounded properly.

When I press the steering wheel, only a second of power is sent to the horn and then nothing until about an hour later are you able to press again and get another second of power.

Seems like a relay opens due to the added current draw and takes a while to close.

Does anyone have a factory wiring schematic or know which circuit the horn is on so I can intercept the wire from the steering column to bypass the module or increase the relay?

I don't want to run a separate switch.

Thanks for reading and any help you have to offer.

Thanks for reading but the problem was that I only had a 10 amp fuse in the power feed from the battery. I needed a 20. It now works.
