2018 Compass Limited

I am a new member and have many questions. Please HELP
My husband and I purchased our Compass on December 16, 2017. The next day on our way home, we were driving on the highway and our dash board went blank. That was fixed, apparently, if no one else has been informed of this, this is a known problem with this model. We have had many issues with the vehicle since then, but the one I am most concerned about and have the questions about is: On February 8 I was driving the vehicle on a highway at approximately 60 mph when my steering went out. I received 5 messages on the dash, Service Power steering, power dynamic torque steering, service front collision warning system, service ESC system and finally service hill start system. The dealer had the vehicle for 16 days and jeep told them to give it back to us. They did nothing. There were no codes sent to the computer with this issue. I am afraid to drive it. My question is, has anyone else had this issue or something similar?
