Change of ball joints 86,000Km

Here pics of the old ball joints.

I just got changed.

I did this after 86,000Kms. No off-road driving. 95% highway. Only me, my wife and mi little 1 year boy.

It starts making metal-metal sound when going over smalls holes.

I remove the rubber cover of the joint to have a better images.

Regards,

Regards,
You should not let your 1 year old drive through them puddles !!! LOL

How is it one is well greased and the other is dry as a bone. A bit rusted as well. Are they sloppy in the sockets. I changed one arm and I could not feel the play or slop in the ball joint at all but it seem to move a bit when it was on the vehicle. Maybe ever so slight wear. The ball joint may cost as much at the full arm. But I don't have a press to push new joints in even if I could source them here.

The left one (without grease) was very loose (sloppy), of course the sound cames from that ball joint. Im driving again over those small holes and no sound at all. Im very happy now.
