Maybe one filament is burnt out in the bulbs. I have discovered that the high beams are used for daytime running lights and if it's off when the fog is on that means the low beam is not working. I'd pull the bulb and check the filaments before I bought another one but that's where I'd start.

Everyday as a child i used to pray to God to give me a jeep. After a couple of years i realized that God did not work that way. So i stole a jeep and asked for HIS forgiveness

Bingo!!!

Turn your high beam on and you'll see dead side light up.

Ok, A long shot but does anyone have a service manual with a wiring or schematic of the Compass lighting circuits? I don't really nee the entire service manual but I certainly would like to know where the controlling relays and switch are for some of this I don;t really like and make changes.

you have to go to the dealer and get the tippim relay reset. its stupid i know. i got into a fight with a service manager and he threatened to sue me because i refused to pay the 60$ fee because they didnt fix it properly in the first place.

Talking Fix(bypass) for Headlight Issue on 2007 Jeep Compass

Seriously had issues even troubleshooting this problem and I'm a lifelong Tech. Got sick of the crap and just ran 3 wires from the passenger headlight to the driver side headlight and WHAM... they both come on, duh! Simplest fix possible. Just as bright no difference and no further issues a few weeks into the hick-rigging. lol... Jeeps not slick enough to get my $100+.. kiss it! And so can your TPIM money bank programming. LMFAO. Love the 4WD on my Limted Edtion Compass though...got plans for her to include turbo, intercooler, turbo timer, fuel pressure regulator, fuel rail, etc... This small 4WD chassis is perfect for Grip N Rape.

hello, I have the same problem....can you please tell me how you setup/by passed the wiring. The low beam doesnt work on passenger side but the high beam does. New bulb/old bulb doesnt make a difference.
