Vibrations at 40mph

Within the last month I've been experiencing vibrations coming from the engine whenever I hit exactly 40mph/2000rpm. It a droning hummmmmmm that comes and goes as I speed up and slow down but will always come back when I hit the mark. Can't figure if it has to do with the CVT? Loose engine mount? Anyone else have the same issue?

How many miles on your vehicle, what you describe is what I was getting when my CV axles were worn.

Also check the rear drive shaft, take it out, plug is the transfer case and drive to see if there's still vibration.

won't have to plug the rear diff if you remove the driveshaft as the driveshaft is just connected to the electronically controlled clutch, here is a pic of my spare rear diff I picked up for a project.
