Thumbs down 3rd try dealer cant get alignment right

So back almost 2 years ago i had an alignment done at georgetown chrysler, i pulled out of the lot and car was pulling hard to the left and the wheel was quarter turn past center . i brought it back had to leave it for the night go pick it up next day steering wheel is still not perfectly center. sooo i gave these idiots bennefit of the doubt thinking the guy who did my alignment was retarded. so almost 2 years later i go back i warn them that it better be correct. LOW AND BEHOLD im on the 401 it`s shaking like a son of a bitch and very very sensitive and pulling heavy to the left. front end is all tight nothing is worn new tierods 2 months ago ect. talk about FAIL. im going to be discussing this monday morning with the manager funny thing is i told him about the other unsatisfied attempts. this should be interesting

Well I don't know where the shaking comes in from a bad alignment. However their alignment rig must be off if the vehicle is pulling afterwards.

they should check for worn suspension components. If there is play at the support points the alignment may be shifting while driving and may be the cause of the shaking. But then wheel balancing etc may be off. Depends on the shaking which is not sufficiently described here. Is is coming from the wheels, feel it in the steering wheel or just the vehicle seat. A good mechanic would know from a quick test drive.

good luck

Is this a continuing warranty issue or post warranty? Take it to an independent garage if is not warranty or Chrysler is not going to address the issue.

The tires look like a very low profile but is the suspension stock?
You need to look for another dealer if they don't know what the problem is. I rarely stick with one especially if they don't know what they're talking about.

What I was thinking, but any mechanic should be able to see the problem even after major lobotomy. I never heard of nor can see how an alignment would have that effect. Clearly dumb and dummer dealership.

You need to get this sorted for your own safety. Try an indepentant mechanic or even another brand of dealer, who is closer to you.
Just a few sugestions or new ideas. Are the brake discs warped or are the wheel rims bent ? Even alloy rims can distort.

i havent driven the car in 2 weeks i have been driving the family car 2010 taurus sho. but the rotors arent warped i have had warped oe rotors i changed them at 90,000km its not warped forsure because it doesent feel like it. rims were checked for center alignment and balanced properly before alignment it cant be a slipped belt in the tire because the tires are on thier 3rd season and they are mint still

Let the manager drive the car and see what the problem is. Hopefully the genius will have the solution. Also get him to drive it afterwards to ensure the problem has been solved.

Having the same issue with my brand new compass. It slightly pulls to the left and seems to be really tight on right turns. I just got it back from the dealer today(after 3.5hrs) to only have it do the same thing. They said quote from service report "verified pulls and s/w off left /// drifts.....set up on alaign machine and is way out of specs..had to alaign 3 times and loosen the K frame and knotch left front to get into specs..see sheet all ok and no pull" WTF?? Now my brand new ride has already been wrenched on and is still having a problem. I also noticed my PSI was all screwed up by him. The left side was at 41psi and left side at 38psi. I think he was trying to fix the problem by offsetting the PSI. Now I am really worried. My alignment is still off and my right turning seems really tight in and out of turns. What to do now? Ugh....

How long you had it? Call Chrysler customer service.
From what you've said it appears it may be a major build problem. I don't know about the US but in Canada there is CAMVAP which arbitrates customer issues. They can rule that the vehicle be bought back by them and start again.

but open a case with Chysler customer relation first. The rep should have you take it to a dealer (pick another one if they are not able to do it). If it still not resolved then you may have to fight it. Also get them to explain and show you the problem and resolution if you can.
Good Luck

like a service manager of Jeep told me.. you have to change all suspension parts every 20 000km LOL

I have 235 tires too and I feel like it shake, and all my suspension parts are new
maybee it's too wide for it.. don't know

I hope with another tire brand it will be better

LOL, they'd be rebuilding it a few times under warranty if thats the case. Turkeys!!, run far from them and find another dealer who knows what they're doing.
