compass problems need to get towed

I am new to all of this. Just got a few questions.

I love my compass but I am having to get it towed for the third time.
1st time it was -40 and I blew a power steering hose.
2nd time power steering hose again as it was going to be such a long wait I told the dealer to take it from another compass. They did so that I could get my car back. I was very pleased about that! I think that the original hoses just can't handle our canadian winters.
3rd time my JEEP is stuck in park....hmmm anyone else come across this :

I did buy the service contract with my JEEP and it has paid off already for sure

Re: compass problems need to get towed

I seem to recall a TSB for the stuck in park issue. The hose is another story. That does not sound right. Power steering uses an oil so even at -40C I would not expect it to blow. Makes me wonder if there was some moisture in the system.

I also went with the service contract as I am planning on keeping my buggy for a very long time.
