Red face Snow Tires?

I'm new to this forum. We bought a 2011 2WD Compass in March so this is our first winter with it. We live in Wisconsin and are debating whether we need snow tires or not. Opinions?

thats so tough to say. I live in CT and we have hills everywhere and when you add snow to the mix, 4x4 is necessary for travel. Because i have 4x4 I've never had a need for snow tires. If it was me, I'd say be safe vs being sorry. If you needed snow tires in the past on a 2 wheel drive car, then get them on this one.

I live in Alberta, I bought my Compass travel back and forth from work, 350k each way, in the winter with my 4x2 my Cooper winter tires have never let me down.
