tire sensors

I got a question is it worth get the air pressure sensors for the new rims (MSW Type 19 BLACK 16x7 -5x114-)and tires (Wrangler A/T Adventure 235/70 R16)reason I ask. These are probly going to be my main set im going to keep on at all times due to where im moving to Alaska

I'd say yes and you'd have them on your original rims so why not have them just moved over. Otherwise you'll be looking at a sensor error light or such on your dash always with no way to turn it off. Tires will drop pressure and its a good safety feature as a thick walled tire or big one does not appear low to look at. You have to measure it so making the correction when it get cold is important.

Would it be an idea to add them to my winter rims as well?
Also can I get after market ones via Ebay and would I need 315 MHZ or 332MHZ?

I have a 2012 Compass (this week) with 17" winter rims and tires from my old Compass

i was going to buy a new set for my winter tires but not no ore cause im using y old ones but if u have a summer set and winter one i think it be worth it to not have the headach
