Aftermarket wheels

I'm looking at a new '15 Jeep Compass for my wife, and am wheel shopping as well. I found some 17x8's that I like with a +40mm offset, 6" backspacing. Does anybody know how close these will be to working without any rubbing issues?

With 6" of backspacing and an 8" wide wheel that probably won't fit as the wheel will be tucked into the wheel well too far.

stock offset is 38mm

What would be an ideal offset for say a 17x8? I found some 17x8's with a 35mm but that's not much difference. Being flush with the fender or even sticking out a hair is fine with me. I just don't like a wheel tucked too far into the fender. I found some 17x7.5's with a 45mm offset that might work better.

This offset may be too big for your JEEP. We also sell wheels at CARiD, so you can find some nice wheels with a perfect fitment here: Custom Wheels, Chrome Rims, Tire Packages at CARiD.com
Plus you can verify fitment with our wheel experts by phone at 888.978.3395

Look up MB Chaos 5 wheels, in 15x7 it's what I run, don't need any spacers
