Can I disable my TPMS warning light & chime?

Hi guys,

I'd like to get winter tires & rims for my 2012 Compass North Edition, but I don't want to fork out the extra cash for a 2nd set of TPMS sensors. I don't mind monitoring the tire pressure myself manually, but the annoyance of the low tire pressure warning light & chime would drive me crazy.

Is there a fuse you can pull to disable the TPMS system, or get the light to turn off without disabling the entire instrumentation panel?

And yes, I know I can put duct tape over the light. Plan B.

None that I have heard of or at least dedicated to it. Electrical tape over the light or ignore it.

Do all models have TPMS? I just picked up a set of steel wheels to mount my winter tires on so I wouldn't have to go the the shop to have them re mounted every spring/winter. The new rims don't have TPMS with them and I am wondering if there is a way to tell if my Compass has this feature or not. Also if it does and I don't have TPMS in my winter rims will a light just come on or will there be a noise when I am driving? Thanks for the info
