Low tire warning light

I have a 2012 Jeep compass. The warning light came on for a tire with low pressure. Took it in to a tire shop the guy said sensors are all fine and put air into low tire. He said once I drove around awhile the light should go off. Well after driving most of the day the chime still comes on the the light is still there.

It may need a couple cycles to readjust.

It's possible that the tire is leaking. After all there must be a reason why it was low in the first place.

Agree w/ mdram4x4. Spare tires are often overlooked but they are monitored by the system.

Several times I've got lucky losing those TPMS warnings by doing a manual reset, dropping all tyres to or below 1.7bar or 25psi, driving around a bit when all 4 started blinking. Then air filling all 4 of them and doing some more driving around ~12km and usually warnings are gone.
Those TMPS sensors are just too sensitive for SUV type of vehicles imo. It's a pain in the as* constantly to readjust them and completely unreliable in -10C or more winter conditions.
The good old rule, check your tires pressure while filling gas and you don't need to trust TMPS at all.

I had a similar issue. Verified tyre pressures were ok. Took it to my mechanic that has a specialised diagnostic tool for tpm sensors and the sensors were bad. This is a 2016 latitude 4x4. They called Jeep to see if they could replace under warranty and Jeep said no. New sensors in and no issues since.
