Wheel Spacers on 2018 Trailhawk
I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with wheel spacers on their compass? I have been thinking of putting a 1 or 1.25 spacer on to get rid of the skateboard look. I appreciate all the feedback.

I'm probably wrong but last I looked into it, seemed like you almost better off going with a 1.5" spacer because of issues with the thinner spacers not being deep enough for the lug studs that hold the spacer on. Not sure though I never pulled the trigger on them, just read some reviews. I'm always really torn about it because it would be a big boost in the looks department but spacers are pretty hoaky in general.

These are the ones I am running currently with stock size wheels and tires. 3/4"
They came with everything pictured. Improved the look in my opinion.

I see those come with lug bolts that are short enough to clear, that is probably the thing to watch for then if you see some super cheap 1 inch spacers and they don't come with lug bolts better realize you will be buying some and spending additional money because the stock bolts will be too tall, from what I've seen.

I really want to run spacers but I'm also really nervous about adding another potential point of failure or source of vibrations, and of screwing up the geometry for the ESC. Maybe when the buggy is a little older with many more miles on it.

Had all those feeling too, when I first was considering spacers on our JKU Wrangler.
After running them on our wrangler since 2012 and 100,000 plus miles I no longer worry.
But like anything, do your research, talk with others that are using the product. And don't cheap out, buy a quality product.
I now have 66,000 plus mile on my compass trailhawk, The spacers have been on for about 35,000 miles and I have had no issues at all with them.
Vehicle sure feels more stable in crosswinds and when pulling my trailer. Maybe a placebo effect, but I don't think so.
