To the best of my knowledge, those should fit, but its going to be fairly close and some tire shops are finicky, especially the big-chain ones due to legal issues.

The clearance for the bottom of the spring cups on the strut towers is probably your biggest concern. When you are looking at my pics from that thread bear in mind that those are photos of my 225/55R18
tires (~27.7" x 8.9) and most of the original tread is worn off. Your tires are going to be about an inch taller and the same width, so you can see why it might be close.
I'm not sure if/how the backspacing varies between the 18 inch stock rims and the 17 inch stock rims. Its probably the same?
If clearance really truly is an issue, to keep your stock rims Spacers
would pretty much take care of the issue, but of course that is sort of a taboo topic. You wouldn't need much, either 3/4" or 1" would get you good and clear of the strut towers and the rest of the fenders should be no problem at 28.5 inches. New rims with different backspacing could have the same effect and arguably be safer, just much more expensive. Something to consider, though. After all, I paid something like $750 for a fellow forum member's 17" stock rims and tires (without TPMS) so its not like you hypothetically can't possibly break even or get most of the money back on getting new rims with enough backspacing to minimize clearance issues. Just more work and some upfront cost and all that. I'm just trying to give you ideas.
Obviously a lift will not help in this case, as that only spaces the top of the struts from the body and your clearance to the bottom of the springs will be the same.
Perhaps a different tire shop would be willing to mount just one of the new tires and bolt it up to find out how close it really is. They will want to try it in the front, AFAIK
the strut clearance is not so much an issue in the back. You might end up with like 1/4" of space between the bottom of the spring cup and the tire and that space won't change, so like technically it would work but understandably a tire shop is not going to be thrilled about it from their liability standpoint. Like we talked about in the thread I linked, if you go and try to throw on some tire chains they are gonna get caught on the spring mount and tear something apart! And again, spacers could cure this, but...
