History
Ive been a Jeep guy for a long time. I still have my first Jeep; a custom 87' YJ Wrangler that I drove for 11 years in Canada without ever having a hardtop. I was an early adopter of the Jeep Compass. I bought my first one in Jan of 2007. I live a very active lifestyle kayaking, mtn biking, snowboarding, kiteboarding, standup paddleboarding, hiking etc. and the Compass has suited it very well. Due to the great distances I often travel here in Canada to find fun, one of my major purchasing criteria was the fuel economy of a small, capeable 4x4. In my opinion, the Compass is a very economical as well as a very good value for your dollar.
