i'm no running snowtires on my 18" oem rims. when the winter is over i want to buy 20"rims with normal tires. the company where i want to buy the rims advice me to run them with 255/35 r20 tires. the rims are 20x8,5 offset 40.

the thing is i whant to drive it with bigger tires. 245/45/20. i know it will effect my Speedometer. i red on this forum that anything above 29" is going to start giving me rubbing problems. the tire size i whant to youse is a about 28,5".

i'm just asking is their anybody on this forum with the same tire size? and do they rub? did you go with another offset or dit you youse wheel spacers?

thanks

Think its better to get the suggested size advised to you by the company. 255/35 is quite close to the size of stock tires. But it will also depend on the offset you'll choose to use. 245/45 is better if you'll put on 19" rims. you'll surely experience rubbing if you insist on using 245/45/20

i just bought some 20" with 245/40r20 9j offset 36
bought them with some smaller tires ass i wanted but they cost me 600 euro(second hand) instead of 3200 euro for a new set:eyebrows:. i went for a spin but there is no rubbing at all. when the tires have to be changed i probably go for the bigger tires. i think 245/45 will give me no rubbing problems.
there are some damages on the outside of the rims.probably hit a sidewalk or 2. i will try to fix it by myself.pictures will follow. when it doesn't work out i let the pro's do it:think:

thanx for youre time:usa:
