We own a 2015 Jeep Compass 78,xxx miles.
It stall without a rime or reason, otherwise it drives and stops good.
It happened on the highway, intersection or even pulling in/out the driveway.
Engine warm or cold, no difference.
After it stalls, It will start right back up, most times, if it doesn’t, have to wait few minutes then it starts and it will run as nothing ever happened
Oil level is normal, battery is good and connections are cleAn and good.
All looks good under hood
No Codes.
Maintenance up to date, no recent new work or parts, just stalls!!!
Transmission fluid normal.
Air filter, New
Dealer can not look at it for a month.
We’re concerned driving it in fear of cousing an accident if it stalls in middle of intersection or in a place where we can get rear-ended or T-Boned or worst.
Please, please share your experienced and most importantly what was the fix?
Thank you so much for pitching it with your experiences and professional opinions.
Please do mot relay or assimilate this to other cars/trucks or makes, I want to know specifics
I usually work on cars,I’m well versed and experienced, this has stumped me.
