It's not a hard job to replace the screen. Did mine in about 30 minutes. That doesn't include the nerve-wracking chore of getting the surrounding bezel off. Trying not to break that or screw up the dash inserting the trim tools to pull with was the scariest part of the whole job. Picked up a new replacement screen on ebay that even had the same manufacturers tag for less than $130 all in.
If only I could figure out what parts to get the nav to talk to satellites I'd be set.
