Hello everyone
My name is wpabon1 and I just bought a Brand new 2018 Jeep Compass Trailhawk. I’m hoping to meet new people and exchange stories and ideas about Jeep Compass. I don’t know if anyone here meets up for off road or not? I’m very new and hope to hear from fellow Compass owners real soon!!

Welcome to the party. Sadly half the people here never do anything fun with their Compasses and made accounts just to complain a lot about dumb things like the backup camera screen being too bright for their sensitive eyeballs... but on behalf of the rest of us, we're glad you are here and look forward to seeing some pics and/or videos of your off-road adventures.

I haven't seen any meets or off road trips organized here since I signed on but you could be the guy to get them started!

Welcome fellow Trailhawk owner! If you off road much then you picked the best trim for the job. We also have the 2018 Hawk and love it. There are some fairly capable machines we run mountain forestry roads in TN all the time and we have yet to come even close to to getting stuck. We have even had to drag a tree out of the road one night and the later pull a car out the road that was stuck. Trust me if you do run off pavement go ASAP and get a snatch strap with no hooks just loops on the ends and toss it in with your spare. It just might come in handy and is a good start to putting together a off road tool kit. :)

Where are you located roughly?

Arudland and Chris Jacobs thanks for the reply. After 24 hours later of buying my 2018 Compass Trailhawk. I drove to Vermont in Sanderland and went off road. I have family there and didn't waste time. It was great. I live in NJ unfortunately it appears you guys aren't from NJ

Sorry to hear about that. I don't understand why people complain about the little things. So far after four wheeling. I love it more and more. I would love to start a meet and greet fellow Comapss owners and go out into the woods. Let's see how.many more reply and maybe I can start something. Fingers cross
