Driving to work this morning by back window exploded. Sounded like something hit my roof. No sign of any rocks or debris. Defroster not on as it was pretty warm this morning, about 37. Anyone else have this issue

I am sure it is tempered safety glass and they can shatter on occasion for no reason. Although it is a rare occurrence. It is an inclusion of nickel sulfide particles which can be as small as 0.003 and may grow in size to cause the spontaneous breakage. It can be months or years before it happens. No current technology to eliminate or practice way to inspect for
