Just thought I’d share a few pictures of my setup on my 2020 Trailhawk. Tires are Yokahama Geolander MT g003’s size 225/65r17. Everything else is stock! No rubbing, and road noise isn’t too bad! Hopefully this will help anyone looking for a bigger tire for their trailhawk!

Yes sir, took them on some back trails today, ripped through every mud hole with no issues!

Yeah the loss is pretty minimal, nothing drastic!

225s are ideal for stock compass. if you go any larger than 235 you have to cut front fender and remove wheel well splash guards and will void any warranty.
I currently run 235/65/17s with 1 inch spacer and 1.5 daystar lift.

Hiya, new compass owner here - I love your set up with the beefy tires and thinking of upgrading come spring. My question to you is would the 235s rub if you didn't have the 1.5 lift?
I am looking to switch out my 215/65R17 OEM tires for something closer to my old trucks BFGs but concerned of major rubbing when wheels turned out. Ideally the 235/65R17 with the 1.5 spacers would be mint.

I’m sure the 235 would be just fine. People put those on even R18 rims so on R17 you’ll be just fine. Even stock.

235’s will fit but with a small amount of rubbing, the problem is you’ll have some rubbing on the struts along with the wheel wells without spacers.

Even on a 235/65 R17? Ok. I’ll by that one. I guess. I have 225/55R18 on my compass and it’s plenty of room and the 235/65R18 were an option on my tire selection on TireRack.com. So I just figured it would work on the 17 no problem. Mines the limited not the trailhawk.
