.....if you are, and you're considering the Mopar Speed Control Kit, here's some advice.

first, this kit is soooooo simple to install. GREAT!

second, the kit has a 'List Price' of only $225.00.

and last, here's a way to save $75 or so on it! :D

the Mopar kit only consists of FOUR PIECES: the switch (PN 4671929AA), wiring harness (PN 68036592AA) and a cover for the back of the steering wheel, the a hole for the switch (PN EB85XDVAB for Gray and PN EB84DK7AB for Beige).....if you purchase these parts separately, instead of in the "Kit", at 'List Price' you would only pay $149.65 (switch: $17.95, wiring harness: $65.75 and cover: $65.95)
since you only need ONE steering wheel cover, you don't need the kit with BOTH.

have fun installing and saving $$

not sure what you meant that you 'looked at mopar'. did you go to a site online or call your dealer? just go to your dealer, give them the part numbers and ask them to price them for you. even if they don't have them in stock, you should be able to get them in 1-3 days.

as for 'instructions', there are none in the Accessory Kit. you must have your dealer's service department print off the instructions from Mopars "DealerConnect".

How difficult is this to do. My dealer wants $200 to install it.

Also they say the part for the steering wheel is not valid. They gave me 1EB84XDVAA for the grey interior.

And what about the screws? Are they special in any way?

Thanks for the info.

Hello. I need help to install the cruise control for my Jeep Compass. Is it easy to install? Is it true that you need to take your car to the dealer to activate it? Thank you!
