What is the chance of adding avatars?

I was wondering about that too. There is an option on the User CP but there doesn't seem to be any way to change from the default "do n ot use an avatar" to load your own.

Some other forums I belong to have disabled avatars as well so as not to have to deal with "questionable" images and GIFs being used. It's easier to not have them than to try to police them. Could be the case here...

avatars aren't a big deal. I'm fine without them.

As you can hopefully see, I have an avatar. Mine is a picture of my own Jeep. I don't mind avatars as long as they are in good taste.

So how does one go about adding an avatar? I can see a way to upload one from my CP. I can't seem unselect the "Don't use avatar" radio button.

Let me do some looking. I don't remember just how I posted mine.

Here's what I did, click on User CP, then Your CP, then Settings & Options, and open Edit Avatar. I used the custom avatar option to upload the photo of my Jeep. If this feature has been disabled then I don't know.

I tried that, but there is no option to upload a custom avatar. Maybe it's one of those "15 post" rules. I'll see if I can upload one after I get to 15 posts.

I think that hit the nail on the head! After 15 posts you should be good to go.

No, I've got 50 something posts and still can't put one on.

Well, it could be that the site administrator set it up that way. I'll still look into this some more.

I seem to remember something about it when signing up but I don't recall exactly what it was. Maybe I can find someone to sign up and find out

If anyone gets this figuired out let us know. I have moderator access to your control panels and have checked on a couple of your avatar status's and the function is check marked enabled/on.

I can see Jeepster's avatar, but I don't see anything on Feel For Life's

I cant see Feel For life's avatar either. I think the only avatar I have seen is Jeepster2
