Does anyone know if the back seat cushion is able to be taken out? On my previous vehicles it was usually some sort of push in and up on the cushion and it would come right out in one piece but it appears on the Jeep that’s not the case. I did see two little white plastic pieces on the left and right side and played around with that a bit but still couldn’t get it to budge. Any information is appreciated.

Thanks

I'd like to know this as well. I need to clean under the seats :-\

Yes it is removable. I took it out to reupholster my seats. Most of the bolts are straightforward and easy. Removing it from the hinge pin is the hardest part.

This might be fuzzy since it's been a while and I'm just going from memory, but there are a few torx bolts that hold down the seat belt fasteners and the bench itself. You need to remove the rear cargo lid to get access to the bolts. Now that I think about it, you might not need to mess with the hinge pin if you just want the bench without the seat backs. I think once the bolts are out, the bench can just lift out. There might be a few snap clips that just need a little force.

Damn. I've been hoping someone would have a walkthrough or description on how to remove the rear bottom seat cushion. Just need to remove that part. I can lift it up a bit, and sort of see the clips, but can't figure out how to disconnect. This thread got me excited for a minute. ?

The bottom cushion on my '93 Cherokee would flip forward so the hinges were exposed. Also there was a small area for storage under there. Kinda clever.
