I heard a squeak when I depressed the clutch on my 2007 Jeep Sport 4X4 for the past three weeks. When I took it to the dealer the tech said a bulletin from Chrysler suggested that the push rod should be lubricated. They did the work under warranty and the squeak has gone away.

mine squeeks so bad its so annoying!!! uh I really need to get in there and let them do the same to mine. I have heard about this bulletin, I dont know why they dont just do it before they seel them at the dealer. They know everyone is gonna come back and get it fixed. Has your issue stayed away?

Yes, the clutch works propferly. The squeak has completely disappeared. I have also have increased my city mpg by 2-3 mpg by adding two lbs. of air to each tire.
