Hello everybody!
I just found out about this forum. I read some of the topics and found some interesting mods and information.

My name is Tony and I am from Bulgaria (eastern Europe)
I have a 2007 Jeep Compass 2.0 CRD Diesel engine 140 bhp
I bought it 3 months ago (from my dad ) on 44 000km and in good condition.

I am posting some pictures (along with my quad)

I didn`t know do you have a lot of diesels here in the forum and will be glad to exchange some experience with you guys.

Hey there Tony, welcome to the forum, glad you found us and joined up! Nice looking Compass, thanks for the pic! Not really sure how many diesel owners we have on here, but I'm sure there are a few. What kind of mods do you have in mind for yours? Plenty of ideas here and lots of great people and info, too, so any help you need, just ask and I hope you enjoy the site!

Hi Cherokee
First thing I wanted is to add the Mopar off-road lights. Because here, they are riping us off for that kind of stuff, I ordered them trough a friend from USA, so hope I got them in the end of the month. I didn`t understand though, where should I attached the switch for the turning them on? Are they on the switch for the regular lights, or there should be another one installed?
Also I wish ot add sidebars but for now I didint found any compatible for a Compass
For the winter will switch to 225/65/17 to get a lil bit more clearance, cause here roads are really bad.
And later on I plan an ECU upgrade. With the Turbo Diesel engine I can have like 30+ more bhp and around 50-60+Nm of torgue just we remapping the computer.
The last thing I was thinking was an K&N sport panel air filter, but some friend here are saying that its not good for a diesel engine and in a long term I will f*ck up the engine.

And thats all of it. Thanks for asking. I will be so glad if I can get some advices from you guys, on what I can or can`t upgrade on my Compass.

Most people that I know that add extra lights, be it interior or exterior, do add another switch and just tie that in to the existing harness, and those are not that difficult to add to the dash. As for the stepboards, it is tough to find those, just because of the molding on the bottom of the Compass doors, but that ECU upgrade sounds interesting, I'd like to hear more about that! In the meantime, I'll see what I can find on the K&N filters, didn't know they were not to be used in diesels.
