(Electronic?) Vehicle Information Center = EVIC, shows outside temperature, instant and average miles-per-gallon, a trip computer, driver alerts, and more. Some settings can be changed there more easily (for example Follow-me-home ligths time)

- turns the mirror a greenish colour. It's great for on the highway when some A$$ comes up behind you with his highbeams on.

- This is an option that gives you information regarding you Jeep under the spedometer. Info like tire pressue, fuel mileage, etc Also if you have the Sirius satatlite radio, it tells you the station your on :mrgreen:

I have this in my Limited. It is worth it. The mirror is one of the best features (I use the bluetooth interface all the time..). The EVIC is very useful. I even use the rear cover. (It is also easily removable if you need to haul stuff.)

The garage door opener is "home link" so it works with lots of things. (There are 3 buttons so it can control 3 devices.)

Tire pressure monitoring is also nice as it displays the pressure of each tire...

I had to decide between this package or the heated seats,
Information I can use all the time, heated seats, 20 ? days a year.
So I have bought the farm, 2008 Compass, North with the 2.0 & C.V.T.
Looking forward to my 1,000.00 bucks back from the eco gov rebate.
Pickin it up Sat. 22 with all taxes in ! - 1000 gov = 21
can't beat it. :lol:

I love the heated seats in the winter. My wife uses them even during the summer when we're on long trips. The heat helps relax her back when it starts getting soar.
