I would not think so. Maybe someone else has some input.

 

I’ve used it in almost every vehicle since a long time ago. Never did anything different. I wouldn’t worry about it

 

I'd expect it to change the behavior of automatic wipers. The car uses a camera to sense when enough raindrops collect on the windshield, then do a wipe. Rain-X keeps the windshield clearer. But then you need the wipers less often, so the end result shouldn't be bad.

 

Ours doesn't have that rain sensing sensor as far as I know it hasn't ever turned on the wipes automatically without us turning on the wipers.

 

I used it in my dodge caravan and messed up the sensor. Making the warning light stsy constantly even when full

 

Wasn't necessarily the Rainx. Might have been caused by something else.
