Electrical ?circuit? issues causing problem

Same issues in my brand new 2018 compass. Rear window rolls up and down by its self, Engine running screen comes on, door open dash alert comes on, interior lights turn and and off by them selves, etc. Been to the dealer 3-4 times already and every time, the issue stops for a few weeks and then comes back, sometimes even worse than before. They replaced the master window switch and the OBD, but the issues keep coming back. Was told this morning b the dealership service dept. that Chrysler/Jeep tries sending an update out to all vehicles and that it caused many electrical problems for many owners. I find it strange that this would do that to mine since I have had these issues since the start. Not sure what to do as I really like the car, but paying for a brand new broken vehicle that I cannot use is ridiculous. I paid a lot for this car and am very disappointed.
Anyone have any luck with similar issues?

These cars are plagued with electrical gremlins. We bought our 2018 in December and had it in our possession for a grand total of 4 days. The rest of the time has been with the dealer. They've been working directly with FCA engineers and they honestly have no idea what's going on with these things. Another member of the forum seemed to have luck after they replaced 2 of the 7 "terminal chips" in his. Most of us seem to have the issues in colder weather. Turned out the plastic housing on those tiny terminal chips were shrinking in cold weather, causing them to lose connection intermittently.
FCA's denying that's the issue on mine. I have my doubts that they actually checked them, or want to pay for it.
My case manager was SUPPOSED to call me today to discuss Lemon Law or a trade, but never did, nor did she ever pick up or return my calls.
They're paying for a rental this whole time (if you're having issues get a Case Manager and make FCA pay for a rental. Do NOT settle for a 2WD dealer loaner). And they were supposed to reimburse me for our monthly payments for the auto loan, but I have yet to hear or see anything on that front.
I'm not happy. Enough's enough. They better give us one that works or they'll be losing a family of longtime Mopar owners.
We apologize for any delay in communication you have experienced from your case specialist. We would like to look into this further and see if there is any opportunity for us to provide additional updates. Please send us a private message with your VIN or case number.

This is the 3rd time I have taken my 2018 Jeep Compass to Reedman Toll since I purchased it in November 2017. They run the diagnostics and tell me everything is working properly and the only way they can know what's happening with it is to bring it to them as the problem occurs.

My complaints are:
My fan turns on to full blast with the front defroster on when I had left the car climate off when I got out of the car. This has occurred in cold and warm weather now.
The mileage has changed itself from miles to kilometers.
The time has changed itself to military time from standard time.
My set phone contacts disappeared for 3 days, then suddenly restored themselves.
The car is sluggish at best and hesitates when I push the gas to accelerate especially on a highway.
The car doesn't stop when in contact with gravel or dirt when attempting to come to a complete stop.
The car is consistently bumpy and not a smooth ride.

Driving this vehicle has become a nightmare and a chore. To get the car to any decent acceleration takes more physical effort than any other vehicle I have ever encountered. Is anyone else having these problems? The dealership has not been any help and has no solutions to fix any of these problems because they can't replicate them. Please help! Right now I am driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2018 rental and it is so easy to drive. It's a smooth acceleration and has no hesitation.

This is not what we hope to hear from our customers, sweetvanla. It is importance to us that you are enjoying your new purchase and are able to rely on it. We would like to make sure your experiences are documented within our systems and see if there is any opportunity for us to assist. Please send us a private message with your VIN, the date of your last dealer appointment and any additional information you wish.
