Enter the “From Where I Sit Contest” for a rare opportunity to influence the design of a Chrysler, Dodge, or Jeep® brand “Image Vehicle” to be introduced at next year’s premier automotive accessories show hosted by SEMA and a chance to win $5,000.

As many of you know, SEMA, the Specialty Equipment Market Association, is a trade association consisting of a diverse group of manufacturers, distributors, retailers, publishing companies, auto restorers, street rod builders, restylers, car clubs, race teams, etc... According to their website, “A love for cars, trucks and SUVs” is their “motivating force”.

Every year, SEMA presents a trade show in Las Vegas. As you can imagine - this is a pretty big deal in the automotive world. Manufacturers unveil their latest “creations” and buyers, distributors and members of the press take it all in. So, it'd be pretty cool to see one of Chrysler's "creations" be inspired by your video.

The mission, should you choose to accept it follows...
Create an original video 2 minutes in length or shorter detailing “your favorite place, space, or thing” and submit on YouTube no later than June 23, 2008 11:59PM ET. Use this question to help guide your idea.

  • What place, space, or thing most inspires me; and how can it enhance an existing Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep® product feature, or inspire a new one? [/*:m:3bma18ib]
  • Imagine if your love of open air and the great outdoors inspired the industry-exclusive Jeep Liberty Sky Slider full-length open canvas roof. [/*:m:3bma18ib]
  • What if you were the tailgating phenom who had the idea that gave rise to the RamBoxTM featured on the all new 2009 Ram 1500, the Dodge Caliber Chill Zone® beverage storage cooler, or the Chrysler Town & Country Swivel 'n GoTM storage system? [/*:m:3bma18ib]
So now are you ready to put the pedal to the metal and set your creative spirit free? Check out the following links to for rules and how to enter:
