Hi all.Having really bad flooding here at moment.Have had to go through some pretty bad ones. But some i was just afraid to chance!!
And just my luck the engine splash guard got damaged and cracked, so I had to take it off.
I have new one ordered (€180) expensive piece of plastic.
So I was just wondering about other peoples experience dealing with high waters, and you know, the capabilities of the Compass and its limits.
The air breather on my Compass is above the battery, so that helps with things( i think).
lookin forward to hearing ye're suggestions & opinions.

That makes me wonder, is the transaxle, differential vented? That would be real bad  Being it is a Jeep, I wouldn't think so, hmmmm.
Stay safe!

Well Jeep claims the compass can safely drive through eighteen inches of water. Thats about a foot a half soooo... (about) a half meter.

It was right on the jeep website. Go to their info center and look at the stuff about the compass. It was somewhere in there. Sorry I can't be more specific, I read through the whole thing a while ago.
