Welcome buddy! I also have the 2015 Jeep Compass Sport, mine is the 2.0L engine, 2WD, with the CVT transmission.
If you have the CVT, I hope you've been keeping up on changing the fluid/filters about every 30k miles. It's a good habit to get into and it's not very difficult to do yourself (and will save you a ton of money). I actually opted to swap the CVT fluid pan with one that has the drain plug in the bottom. Since one doesn't really need to replace or clean the metal filter all that often, this saves me from having to deal with the pan gasket when I do a fluid change. And since the more important filter is the one attached to the cooler assembly, that still gets replaced every time I do a drain/fill.
I hope you'll find what you need in this community. Also consider joining over at JeepPatriot.com it's the same forum as this but for the Patriot. And since the Patriot is essentially the same vehicle in terms of engine, interior, suspension/frame, you'll find a lot of good information that directly applies to your Compass.
