Dear all,

A rather complicated one, that neither MOPAR or Jeep could/wouldn't answer for me.

I've bought a UK 2012 Jeep Compass 2.0L Sport and i'm now assigned to a job Germany, and need to replace my RHD headlamps with some LHD versions, to meet regulations (those stick on beam deflectors are only allowed for tourists).

My current headlamps have the leveling system. I have not collected the car yet, but know my VIN/chassis number, last 6 are 568366.

I have been quoted over 1200 GBP or 1800 Euros to replace the headlamps. I am currently in my last 2 weeks on an assignment in the USA and can get headlamps here for $300 from MOPAR, I just don't know which ones i need or that will work.

Can anyone help?

I need the whole assembly. Its the refractors behind the bulbs that shape the beam left or right depending upon whether its a LHD or RHD car. If I try and order a set most people want my VIN, which is find, but then they want to send me the headlamp assemblies I already have in my RHD jeep. They can't seem to understand I want the same spec lights but for LHD so I can use them in Germany.

Ok, there are two distinct possibilities here.

- call customer service/relationation 800 number and ask to speak to an vehicle specialist since the dealers here are unable to address the request. Their database may not include the parts for other country's anyway.

- you're on the internet. Connect with a Jeep dealer in Germany and get the #'s etc from them directly for your year/model. Probably the easiest method. The question for you would be if you want them shipped from there.
