Hello all,

Finally got around to getting the homelink installed.

Some people may say who cares, I have a few garages I access so this is very helpful.

Anyway here are some shots.

Looks pretty factory IMO.

The only issue mounting it in the visor is a you have to break apart the visor, then have to get the wiring through the Hinge and down the pillar. But from the factory it’s a piece a cake. I still do not understand why this was not an option on these vehicles. I’ve also toyed with the idea of installing the home link in the kick plate or the knee panel on the driver side.

Looks good. From the kit (60hmlkv5all) it looks like there are 3 wires to splice. What do they connect to? power, ground, and ?

Power ground and dash lights for illumination. I have yet to find a connection for that

Why not get a oem home link mirror off another FCA vehicle?

Have you seen that mirror mount. I went crazy trying to find one, no such luck.

That's is a great setup. I would like to do the same thing. Any tips on how to open up the overhead console? Thank you!

Very carefully with plastic pry tools to the clips
