i opened my hood the other day to refill the w/s washer fluid and for some reason the prop rod wasnt connected to anything....me and the wife were sitting in the parking lot for about 10 mins until we gave up anyone have a picture of how it is supposed to go back in?

From the parts manual It looks like there is a grommet or something in the side of the fender well that holds the hood prop in place.
