I've been going through websites to see if there were specialty parts that I could get that aren't available on the mopar site, as it seems that the Compass is largely ignored among the Jeep versions.

I've looked a off road improvements and have seen some things that fit the Cherokee, as well as a turbo. I have the 9-speed, so I'm not worried about the CVT, and I'm also looking at picking up one of the Stage Chips.

Well the second generation Compass has only been out for one year so I wouldn't say its ignored its simply brand new, it takes some time for companies to do the R&D on custom parts for things, and there has to be demand, there is not much reason for them to rush either because until a bunch of them are sold there won't be much demand. Most sane people will avoid doing heavy modifications until their warranty is up so there is just so few dollars to potentially tap at this point heavy aftermarket support for crazy things like turbos is still probably a long ways out (if ever).

Mods that are going to make enough of a difference to be worth the effort/cost are going to be almost entirely mutually exclusive to mods that won't void your warranty, so the best thing would probably be to sit back and just enjoy it the way it is and if your attention span is long enough that you still have it when the warranty runs out then maybe go see if some fly-by-night company has any kind of legitimate turbo or chip option for ya then.
