I changed some things around as a result of boredom and tinkering in garage... I think I am going to put a on board air system for deflating/ inflating tires when I go to beach and pumping up pool toys... you know, important stuff. I think it would be best under tire, so I flipped it around again.

I modified the factory plastic surrounding the spare, cut up some extra weightlifting foam floor pads from the gym at the house, and made form to keep stuff in place.

By modify I mean cut stuff up with a hacksaw blade... not rocket science.

But it's fun. I have a little rifle, 90 rounds, tourniquet, pressure dressing, and then all the full spare, jack, and needed tools. The on board air will be fun.

Give me good ideas!

Hey, check you state gun laws. I have class 3, cc permit, live in a good state for guns, etc. Do your homework.

I haven't done anything in this Jeep yet but some kind of aftermarket lock for the glovebox would go me a lot of good. If there is enough space I could settle for a cash-register-type slide out drawer under the driver's seat but I don't think I have the clearance with the power seat stuff, at least not for it to come out the front. I'll have to check it out sometime.

In one of my previous cars I flipped the spare so it was like a bowl, then I drilled a couple holes and bolted a small safe box through the spare and one stud down through the spare to hold it all in place. No way to remove it unless you have the key to open the safe to get at the bolt heads. Made accessing the tire a little more time consuming but had a nice safe box to keep cash and a handgun when traveling through states that are unfriendly towards my state's permit.

For this Jeep I've been thinking some kind of cargo floor replacement that raises the platform a bit to create a storage space might be a good way to go, I did this in an S10 blazer and it worked great, but the Blazer had a higher ceiling so didn't loose as much as would with this Jeep.

Anywho looks good, extra extra credit for bringing the first aid also. We carry a small trauma kit but admittedly need to spend more time learning how to use the stuff in it.
