Hey all, new member here. I bought a 2011 Compass Latitude in January 2015 and have done a little research before and after I bought it. I see that FDII is an available option, but since I bought used I have no idea if my Compass is equipped with it? I would imagine not, but again, no idea. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

It's 4x4 but no Trail Rated badge. Besides skid plates and the slight difference in the differential, is there much of a difference between FDI and II?

Cosmetically the front bumper is different, the addition of tow hooks front and rear, as well as skid plates.

Transmission gear ratios are different, there is a specific low range with difference engine calibration, as well the ABS system functions like a limited slip while offroading as opposed to open diffs.

Some models of Compass came with tow hooks without being FDII, I believe it was the "all weather capability package" which was only available in the states. This package didn't include the transmission and programming difference as mentioned above

FDII Compass have that front facia and the trail rated sticker
Also the gear shifter will have a "L" position and no auto stick functionality. FDII is only available on 2011+ model compass
