Hello,

I have been issues starting my Gen 2 2017 Compass the last week. Mostly, the car has just been stuttering before starting and running fine. However, a few times it has gone haywire. It will crank once or twice and stop and I will get a few error messages on my screen. "Coolant temperture high", "Service electronic parking brake", "Service ESC sytem". I do not believe any of these to be true as the car runs perfect when on. Not sure if this is a electronic issue or a simple battery or spark plug issue. Anyone know what's going on? Thank you!

Sounds like a low battery to me. It'll trigger all kinds of errors when the voltage drops low, and it is on the edge of being able to start the engine. I'd see if you can get it checked somewhere. Also, if you have the auto start/stop, you have a secondary battery that may be draining the primary and causing these issues.
