I have a 2015 Jeep Compass Latitude. I have the radio that comes with Uconnect, I always have a button on my rearside mirror that’s never worked. The volume buttons on the steering wheel stopped working first
The radio began freaking out when Bluetooth will start freaking out and come and go. Within months the Bluetooth died and didn’t work. The unconnect button will talk but now it just says available options or whatever the robot voice says. For over 2 years now I’ve been using aux cord , and the CD player worked for a bit, but who has cds these days. Over the weekend, while I was listening to music via Aux it started skipping and I thought it was weird and joked that it sounded like a broken CD- for a second I thought I was losing connection to data. I tried to turn it off and on and then everything just DIED. The clocked worked, but the volume knob didn’t move, so no sound came on. I don’t know if it’s speakers, or my radio. I have a gut feeling it’s my radio and it’s was hanging on its last life.
I’m just 7k away from owning this car, and before I do anything crazy and sell it and just get a new car, I want to see if my car has a chance. I just recently in the last year spent over 2k on a whole new control arm and brake pads.
Any advice is appreciated!!! Thanks in advance.
