We live in Texas and my wife went to Oklahoma for a short day trip, on her way back she accidentally ran over a piece of debris in the road. It turned out to be a piece of a deer antler which punctured her tire. The repair kit included was not sufficient for the tire damage.. needless to say, she was stranded 3.5 hours from home, and insurance would not cover the price of a new tire. It’s not like she had a spare available to put on and drive home. I would not purchase this vehicle now knowing that it doesn’t come with a spare tire. Sure, you can say their will never happen to me, but then when it does, you are screwed. View attachment 17167 View attachment 17168
I hate to tell you bro but MOST vehicles don't come with a spare kit now unless you buy them separately, yeah I agree it sucks. I saved the spare kit out of my Dart. I've transferred it to every Compass I have bought justso I would have a valid option. The only way you get a spare is in the Trailhawk (or maybe the High Altitude). I have a Limited and it only came with the same "firm handshake and good luck" option in yours. My best advice is to scare up a jack kit at the local pick a part and either a doughnut from the same or an aftermarket steelie you can mount a real tire on.
