This is possible if consumer demand is high enough. So start demanding it. Let's start with a wish list.

2.0 liter 4 cylinder twin scroll turbo
20" wheels
Brembo brakes
LED headlights
Quad exhaust tips
Rear bumper air diffuser
Active shutter grille (to replace those fake grille)
Stainless steel, steering column mounted paddle shifters

Anything else?

How about going another direction?

4.0L supercharged inline 6 cylinder
Rear wheel drive
Manual crank windows
Manual door locks
Manual steering
Manual transmission
Manual halogen lights
Manual ignition key
Manual heat with no air conditioning
Manual adjusted seating
No radio
No air bags
No ABS
No traction control

Oh how about a Compass Track Hawk. I was just thinking about an SRT version that seems to be prevalent on most Jeep models. But a one off Compass Track Hawk would be amazing too. Like a Mercedes C43 AMG ultra light and irresponsible amount of horsepower.

I'm enjoying reading this thread. It's a freakin Compass, guys! It's not a Grand Cherokee TrailHawk! If that's what you wanted, you should have bought one, or the Dodge Challenger Hellcat. LMFAO.

BTW, My Compass Trailhawk is doing me just fine as it sits.

Some of you don't understand how much room exists for what you're asking.

The 2.0 Turbo most likely will come in the compass down the road, as it's a viable option since the V6 won't fit and the 2.0T is eventually replacing the V6.
A 4.0 inline 6.. definitely not happening, not even the new inline 6 turbo has a small enough footprint to fit. Imagine the 4cyl plus another half of the 4cyl...

A manual 4 speed , minimum is 6 speed these days, gearing for required government endorces fuel economy. There hasn't been a 4MT in decades..

This was a wish list, not something I ever expected to see. At heart I'm with jjcom. Let's get Jeep back to what a Jeep should be: a simple, basic, and durable machine that will go anywhere. Again, I'm wishing not expecting.
