Well I picked up a mopar remote start for my wifes 09. It didnt come with any install instructions unfortuneately. But from what I have gathered, mopar has used the same remote start since 04?
Well I stopped by the dealer and they said the remote start had to be installed by them and then the vehicle reprogrammed by the dealerships scan tool.
But I ran across a set of instructions for installing this standard mopar remote start in a different model chrysler vehicle, and it doesnt use any special tools whatsoever.
has anyone had any experience with this. Its a pretty simple install and I dont feel like forking over $270 to a lying tech at a dealership.
