Auxbeam T20 LED Light Bulb 7440 W21W LED Bulbs for Reverse Light, Back Up Light, Tail Light, Fog Light, Turn signals brake light (Pack of 2)

Factory reverse lights SUCK. I've always ran Rigid reverse lights on my rigs because I like to see backing up at night. Trying not to dump a lot of money into this...its intended to help me save for a house which is why I did not buy a Wrangler (bankruptcy starter kit). Purchased the bulbs above. MUCH better. Still not much out to the sides, but that is due to how the lens is made, not the bulbs. The bulbs are about 2x as long as the factory halogen bulbs. They fit in the hole, but the socket does NOT lock back into place as the bulb hits the outer part of the lens. To fix this, I used clear RTV to hold the socket into place. Does not hurt anything, and will hold well. The socket goes to where the wings go into the housing, but it will not go down the last 1/2 the way to turn. Warning...they did not make the lights easy to get out. Pliers are needed. Use caution as the plastic is kinda cheap. But since they are in the hatch, I'm not worried about moisture and such. The new LEDs do not wash out the camera at all. It helps it actually. I can see MUCH better in the rear now. Just not a lot better off to the sides without reflection from surrounding stuff. I had the girlfriend verify before keeping them in. I think it was a worthy $15 modification. Bulbs plug right into the factory socket. No problems there.
